Clara Rose & Raphaella Hero
stating our purpose.
above all, our music represents a way of being together; patient, present, compassionate, embodied, playful, Kind, and curious. This is the spirit of improvisation. We aim to make every performance an invitation to simply be – to put down what you carry, and enter the present moment in the safe embrace of acoustic sound, creative mastery, and grace.
“It’s everything you’re looking for in music.”

Artist Bio
With roots in Scandinavian, Celtic, and American fiddle traditions, Clara Rose and Raphaella Hero form a duo as spiritually resonant as it is technically crafted. Their performances blur the lines between concert, ritual, and conversation—inviting audiences into a sound world where tradition is alive, improvisation is sacred, and every note is an invitation into deep listening. Though young, they play with the gravity of old souls and the daring of true improvisers—offering music that heals, surprises, and stays with you long after the final bow.
Clara and Raphaella met at Berklee College of Music—two fiddle players quietly aware of each other’s depth, precision, and devotion to their craft. It wasn’t until a shared journey to Sweden in 2023 that their musical bond truly formed. Guided by mentors in the Nordic folk community, they immersed themselves in traditional Spelmansstämmor gatherings, where they encountered the raw power, the intimacy, and the rhythmic and harmonic freedom of duo fiddle tradition. The experience left an indelible mark—on their playing, their friendship, and their purpose.
Together, they have cultivated a musical language that blends folk tradition, chamber music, improvisation, and spiritual exploration. Their work is informed by classical technique and shaped by a belief in music as a healing practice. In an era defined by speed and spectacle, Clara and Raphaella offer something quieter and deeper: presence.
Each performance becomes a kind of altar—an invitation to lay down burdens, reconnect with beauty, and listen with the whole body. Their arrangements make space for grief and grace, contemplation and celebration. Their ambition lies not in acclaim but in artistic integrity, in honoring the lineages they carry, and in showing up fully, moment by moment.
What began as a friendship has become a shared devotion. Their music is both offering and inheritance—rooted, radiant, and alive.
